Killer Content Marketing Strategy

The Foundation of a Good Content Marketing Strategy
A well-planned content marketing strategy is one of the most effective methods of attracting large numbers of visitors to your blog or website. Having your own blog that provides informative content and has videos along with a collection of e-mails and maybe a once a month news letter is a real good start. A good content marketing strategy starts with understanding who your client is, and what their questions and problems are. By knowing these things you will know what kind of content to deliver. If your having a hard time understanding what kind of content would be valuable to your clients try looking at blogs that are like yours, social media, and discussion boards. When you start to supply important content and connecting with people it will be easier to ask for the sale, and in some cases they will ask you.
Implementation of an Effective Content Marketing Strategy
Once you have researched your market and you have a firm understanding of what questions they may have, or problems they need solved, it is time to produce content. The content comes in the form of articles, video, webinars, PDFs, ect., and is used to give them the answers or help they need. Once they have found your content and have actively engaged in it, the object is to have them opt-in to your mailing list so you can continue to deliver marketing content over a period of time. By continuing to deliver content you also continue to build the trust and relationship with your potential client.
Content Marketing Strategy Recap
The internet is a perpetual content machine. The answer to virtually any question that can be asked can be found there. By adding content to the internet, so that it can be found by people who are looking for answers, we are implementing a content marketing strategy. People don't want a sales pitch, they want help or answers. When a content marketing strategy is done properly it builds credibility, presents you as a professional, removes barriers, and places prospects at the beginning of your sales funnel. Once people see you as credible and trustworthy they trust your judgments and recommendations and they won't see you as some sort of sales rep trying to make a sale. In fact, your not your just somebody who is trying to help them answer a question or solve a problem.
